We also give our clients an honest analysis when they first call: how much legal help, if any, will they need to resolve their problems? If we can help our clients avoid high legal fees by giving one session's worth of advice — we are fully committed to doing so. If the caller needs legal help in an area we do not practice in, we will make sure to give a referral to another experienced attorney in the local area.

This does not mean we are a "bankruptcy mill" that churns clients through the bankruptcy process whether they need it or not. It means that we analyze each client's unique financial circumstances and offer customized solutions that best fit their needs. Those solutions may include Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy or another type of legal action to fight home foreclosure. For other clients, tax planning or tax defense may be the best approach.
Business law: In our business law practice, we handle corporate formation to minimize personal and tax liability, we write ironclad business contracts, we negotiate mergers and acquisitions, handle real estate transactions and negotiate corporate dissolutions.
Estate planning: In our estate planning practice, we offer an affordable range of estate planning services to help individuals minimize estate taxes and preserve their legacies for future disposition.
Family law: We represent either side in contested and uncontested divorce cases, including conflicts over child custody, child support and the division of marital property. We charge flat fees for family law cases, as we do with most of our work.
Criminal defense: Our criminal defense practice focuses on representing people charged with misdemeanor crimes such as DWI and traffic violations. We also defend individuals and business owners against criminal tax violations in federal tax court.
Personal injury: When we negotiate personal injury settlements, we generally advise our clients against accepting the first offer. Instead, we work up a comprehensive estimate of the financial impact of the accident and negotiate meaningful and complete compensation for our clients.
